 NEW  OUTREACH MINISTRIES PLANNED

Several new outreach ministries are in the works for Jewish End-time Ministries.  As we continue to expand our evangelistic work in Cuba, Ukraine and Israel, we are also planning on conducting survey trips to Peru, Chili, Hungary and Poland.  The purpose of these trips would be to determine what work among the Jewish people is already being done and what new works can be established.   Our efforts will be to work with established missionaries and churches to try to get the members involved in Jewish Evangelism.  Our past efforts included holding a special "Prophecy and Israel" Conference as well as a Jewish Evangelism Seminar.  We also speak in local Seminaries, sharing the burden of Jewish Missions, in hopes that someone who take a leadership position in the work.   In many cases, several church members will band together with the express purpose of starting what is called "End-time Outreach Fellowship" meetings.   The group meets together to pray for Jewish people, and even invites Jews to meet with them to study the Scriptures.

The first of the new surveys is planned in May of this year in Hungary and Poland.  Please pray with us that the Lord will bless our efforts to begin these new and greatly needed outreaches.  If you would like more information about starting a "End-time Outreach Fellowship", please contact the JEM Home office.

LITERATURE MINISTRY EXPANDING

Over the last two years, JEM, has been producing High Quality, suitable literature, for distribution to Jewish People.  These Gospel Tracts have been greatly used and have resulted in the salvation of Jewish people around the world!  We currently have six different pieces of literature, and are currently working to produce nine others.  The newest tracts will be based on the different Feasts and Festivals of Israel and will be suitable to use during the various Holidays of the Jewish year.  The best news concerning these tracts is that we offer them FREE OF CHARGE!   We have been asking folk like yourself to contribute to the cost of printing the materials and then promoting them on the Internet and in the churches we are speaking in.  Every day we are receiving requests from people who want to witness to their Jewish friends and would like to receive our materials.  Please consider assisting us in the printing of these tracts.  We can print 5000 tracts for $275.00.

MEET JEM STAFF MEMBERS

   Dr. Steve Cook served in the Pastorate for many years before joining JEM in 2004.  Dr. Cook and his wife, Cosie, have two daughters, Kelli and Kristen, and two grandsons Jacob and Benjamin.  Dr. Cook serves as Evangelism Outreach Director and JEM's Jewish-Christian Studies and Bible Institute (coming soon).  He conducts evangelistic campaigns in addition to preaching Israel & End-time Prophecy Conference, Mission Conferences, Passover Demonstrations and other seminars.  If you are interested in scheduling him for meetings, please visit him at his website www.stevecook.org to check his calendar.

  Brother Tom Jeran has served in Jewish Missions for 13 years.  Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Bro. Tom was reared in a Roman Catholic home.  Following a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy, Tom came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.  After his salvation, he served in a local church as a Sunday School teacher, junior church pastor and visitation minister.  He has served in Jewish Missions, working in the area of worldwide Jewish Evangelism.  Brother Tom Jeran is available for preaching, teaching, Prophecy and Israel meetings, and Passover Demonstrations.  You can contact him at our JEM Home Office.

NEWS IN ISRAEL

 Our friend Pastor Jim Vineyard, who travels extensively to Israel and meets regularly with he Israeli Army reports the following to us.

My read of Middle East military sources is that they maintain that the here and now are very much a part of the strategy developed by Iran and Syria for defeating-and if possible destroying -the Jewish state.

1.  They have armed the Lebanese Hezbollah and Palestinian Hamas and Jihad Islami with an arsenal of short-range missiles for relentless cross-border attacks.  These are to be combined with suicide bombing incursions through the wide-open Sinai border to Israeli urban centers, made possible by Hamas' bulldozer tactics.  The Negev town of Dimona suffered the first of these attacks Monday February 4, in which an Israeli woman was murdered and 43 injured.  This is stage one.

2.  The second stage, consisting of medium-range missile attacks is impending, as the unnamed "senior military officer" warned.  Syria, Hezbollah, and the Hamas this week began transferring these weapons to Gaza past the ineffective Egyptian border police stationed in Sinai. 

3.  Iran and Syria are both armed with ballistic missiles for use in the third stage of their campaign.  The short-range missile offensive is the opening shot of the three stage war, along with suicide bombings and planned rapid-fire incursions to capture new territory inside Israel-both as strategic assets and as forward positions for extending their missile range deeper inside Israel.  Hamas' first territorial gain was the capture of the Gaza Strip from the Fatah-ruled Palestinian Authority seven months ago.  This violent coup took place undisturbed by Israel or Egypt, although it placed the fundamentalist terrorists in control of a strategic enclave on both of their borders.

This news reminds us of the nearness of the Lord's return and the revealing of the Anti-Christ and the time of Jacobs trouble!
